Porto Christmas Market

Porto Christmas Markets You Need Visit This Festive Season

The most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner! Yes, I’ll admit it,  I’ve always taken Christmas a bit too seriously (arguably in the best possible way) but Porto makes it very easy for someone like me to lean into the silly season.

While Porto might not be the city people immediately associate as a big Christmas capital, the city still does Christmas beautifully. The lights start popping up, the chestnut smoke gets thicker, cafés slip into their cosy-season personality, and suddenly even the grumpiest among us is humming Mariah Carey’s version of All I want to Christmas

So if you’re like me and you’re ready to lean into the season (or you’re just looking for an excuse to sip vinho quente) here are the Porto Christmas markets worth wandering through this year.
