7 Foodie Pop-Ups In Porto You Can't Miss

A curated list of Porto’s best foodie pop-ups, serving the kind of food you won’t find on any regular restaurant menu.

Pop In, Chow Out: Porto’s Pop-Ups Worth Popping Up To

Porto food has a sneaky little secret: blink-and-you’ll-miss-it foodie pop-ups — your VIP pass to fresh flavours you won’t find on any restaurant menu.

From intimate wine bars to buzzing breweries and sunny rooftops, these rotating experiences serve bold, inventive dishes before disappearing as quickly as they arrived. Miss them, and you’ll be kicking yourself — but if you make it, it’s a taste you won’t forget.

The best way to catch them? Follow their socials, mark your calendar, and be ready to pounce! These pop-ups wait for no one.

If there’s one pop-up I make it a mission to go to as often as possible, it’s Kusina Filipina. As a Filipina myself, I’m constantly craving the taste of home, so having someone who serves proper Filipino comfort food in Porto is truly a dream come true.

Deena’s take on classics like adobo-style bifanas with that salty-tang twist, crispy lumpias (with a vegan option that’ll fool even your carnivore mates) and sweet, nostalgic treats like Champorado are exactly the kind of dishes you don’t find anywhere else here.

Every time Pizzacore pops up, it feels like the city collectively says “Yes, finally.” This isn’t your textbook pizza. Think perfectly blistered edges, thoughtful flavour pairings that just work.

If there’s a pop-up I’ll happily disrupt any dinner plan for, it’s this one. You show up hungry and leave thinking about your next visit — because once you’ve had a slice from Pizzacore, everything else feels a bit… vanilla.

When Opimo sets up shop for a pop‑up dinner, it feels like catching a secret invitation to something genuinely worthwhile.

These are cooks who aren’t just turning out plates — they’re experimenting, curious, and clearly in it for the joy of the table. You go because you want flavour, yes, but also because the whole night feels like a discovery: unexpected pairings, seasonal bits, and dishes that make you lean in and say “wow.”

When Bocada lands at FUNQ Wine Bar, everything about it feels like a nudge from the universe saying “get moving.”

FUNQ is one of those Cedofeita wine spots with rotating pop‑up kitchens and natural wine pours that set the vibe first, food second — and when Bocada’s kitchen is on, it’s steady small plates and confident bites that pair brilliantly with whatever’s in your glass.

Miss a Bocada night here and you’ll see the photos on your feed and really regret not going.

Every time Da Kine Grindz announces their next pop up, I genuinely get so excited.

They serve proper Hawaiian-inspired grindz, with a menu full of mouthwatering options like tonkatsu, smoky katsu sammies, and bites that taste like someone dialled up your cravings to 11.

This is the kind of pop-up you actually make plans around because it’s serious flavour and serious appetite satisfaction. You’ll catch yourself telling people, “You should’ve been here last week” — and honestly, you should’ve.

If you’ve been following the Porto food scene long enough, you’ve probably seen @halfemptystomach pop up on someone’s feed — bold, inventive Asian‑inspired food that doesn’t sit neatly in one box.

Will blends flavours from Vietnamese, Thai and other Southeast Asian kitchens with playful twists and unexpected pairings.

If you’re like me and will drop everything for really good baked goods Jabuticaba will soon be your kryptonite.

These Brazilian‑influenced sweet treats and cookies sell out fast and will leave you wondering what magic they’ll tempt you with next.

If you ever  see “Jabuticaba pop‑up this Saturday” on your feed, you do not scroll past that. You go.
